Hi my name is Kay & this is Kay's Kid's Korner. This issues topic is about penguins.
Penguins are birds that can not fly and lay eggs. They have to go and find food in the coldest weather to survive. It can take three days just to get to the ocean where the food is. When the penguins get to the ocean they will swim around and look for small food like shrimp to eat and bring back to the babies. It can take a long time to get back to the shore that they live by. If a mommy penguin stays gone in the ocean too long, the baby penguin may die of starvation because the daddy can not feed the baby. When the mom penguin gets back home the dad penguin is hungry too, so he goes to look for food in the ocean. Now you know about penguins.

LEGAL: Submission of postcard or email as entry for contest means that you agree to allow Excellent Publishing to print your child's name (Ex.: John M.), in the on-line edition of Greeneville Is Your Vacation City, if they win.
PRIVACY: All postcards are shredded & all emails are deleted upon completion of contest. All names and addresses are not used, except for the Kid's Korner contest, nor rented or sold for or to any mailing lists.
PRIZES: Prizes awarded only to correct answer entries and winners are chosen in a random drawing.
Grand Prize (1 winner): Name Mentioned in next issue (online) of Greeneville Is Your Vacation City, $10.00 gift card and one metal eagle necklace.
2nd Place Prize (1 winner): One 2-3” hand carved, polished stone animal (variety).
3rd Place Prize (2 winners): One semi-precious, polished animal gemstone necklace or key chain.
